An annual "Must-Do at Least Once" event
held each March.
We welcome participants from Tadfin-Racerfin and their families to this "Fun Filled-Sunday Afternoon" event. The theme is a re-creation of the Swim Carnival atmosphere dating back to the 1920's. It was during the 1920's and 1930's Water Shows and Carnivals enjoyed great popularity.
The Depression years
had the American Public looking for affordable thrills. Titles of shows such as " The First Water Lilly, The Dream of the Ancient Mariner, and The Legend of the Nile " reflected the enthusiasm for this type of production. The legendary Buster Crabbe performed with Gloria Callen in the 1943 Minneapolis Water Carnival.
